John R. Lewis College
Undergraduate
Psychology Department
Hello, my name is Ashton Vera Perez. I am a incoming third-year student at the UC Santa Cruz double majoring in Cognitive Science and Psychology.
I see both subjects as relevant to help me and the people around me uncover brain activity, especially in the ways a person behaves.
My research interests consist of mental health disorders, social media in today’s popular culture, Artificial Intelligence’s connection to technology and human behavior, social anxiety, psychological trauma, and mental health/healthcare among marginalized communities.
Feel free to email me at averaper@ucsc.edu regarding any questions you have for me. Looking forward to working with each and every single one of you.
